YELLOW CAP
Yellow Cap was founded 10 years ago. With the influences of many kinds of music like Funk, Punk, Rock, Jazz, Latin and of course Ska and Reggae they´ve created their very unique style, which is famous for being always totally danceable.
Yet, Yellow Cap was playin´ in 10 countries so far and they shared the stage with for instance this artists: The Busters, The Aggrolites, The Toasters, Laurel Aitken, Desmond Dekker, Bluekilla, Rude & Visser (aka Mr Review), Court Jester Crew, The Slackers, Culcha Candela, Nosliw, Pothead and Letzte Instanz.
Their 3rd album called “Up to explode” was released in november 2007. In 2008 and 2009, Yellow Cap is playing the musical called “Radio Babylon” which was musically written by themselves. After the amazing 10 years anniversary show an East Europe Tour was gonna happen in September. Last but not least, the band is making a new album produced and featured by Dr. Ring Ding, which will be released on 20th August this year.

Yellow Cap bestehen seit 11 Jahren. Beeinflusst sind die 10 Offbeat-Maniacs durch unterschiedliche Stile von Funk, Punk, und Rock bis Jazz, Latin und natürlich Ska und Reggae. All diese Zutaten ergeben die stets extrem tanzbare Mischung, die Yellow Cap zu ihrem unverwechselbaren Stil verhilft. Die Band spielte bis jetzt Konzerte in insgesamt 10 Ländern. Dabei teilten sie bereits mit folgenden internationalen Größen die Bühne: The Busters, The Aggrolites, The Toasters, Laurel Aitken, Desmond Dekker, Bluekilla, Rude & Visser (aka Mr Review), Court Jester Crew, The Slackers, Culcha Candela, Nosliw, Pothead und Letzte Instanz.
Im November 2007 erschien ihr nunmehr drittes Album namens “Up to explode”. Im Mai 2008 fand die Premiere des von Yellow Cap komponierten Musicals “Radio Babylon“ statt. 2009 hat nach dem furiosen Jubiläumskonzert die “10 years anniversary East Europe Tour” sattgefunden. Außerdem arbeitet die Band zusammen mit Dr. Ring Ding an einem neuen Album, das am 20. August dieses Jahr erscheinen wird.
